 Art on the Square Announces Grand Opening of Art on the Square Elevation — A New Destination for Fine Art in Downtown Bentonville VIP Preview Celebration Friday, July 31, 2026 | 5:00–8:00 p.m. Public Grand Opening Saturday, August 1, 2026 | 10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Art on the Square is proud to announce the grand opening of Elevation, an exciting expansion of its gallery that introduces a dynamic new destination for original fine art in the heart of Downtown Bentonville. The celebration begins with an exclusive VIP Preview Reception on Friday, July 31, 2026, followed by the Public Grand Opening on Saturday, August 1, 2026. Located above the main gallery, Elevation offers an inspiring new exhibition space dedicated to showcasing exceptional local, regional, and nationally recognized artists. The expansion reflects Art on the Square’s continued commitment to supporting artists, connecting collectors with original artwork, and enriching Northwest Arkansas’ vibrant and growing arts community. The VIP Preview Reception will welcome invited collectors, artists, business leaders, community supporters, and media for an exclusive first look at the new gallery space. Guests will enjoy an evening featuring original artwork, artist meet-and-greets, refreshments, and the opportunity to acquire works before the public opening. The Public Grand Opening on August 1 invites everyone to experience the expanded gallery, meet featured artists, enjoy live artist demonstrations throughout the day, and explore a diverse collection of original paintings, sculpture, ceramics, glass, jewelry, and mixed-media artwork. “Elevation represents much more than additional gallery space,” said Matt Coburn, owner of Art on the Square. “It reflects our vision to create an even stronger home for artists while providing collectors and visitors with an unforgettable art experience. Bentonville has become one of America’s most exciting cultural destinations, and we’re proud to continue investing in that future.” Since opening October 2020, Art on the Square has become a destination gallery known for representing exceptional artists and creating meaningful connections between artists and collectors. The addition of Elevation significantly expands exhibition opportunities while enhancing the visitor experience for residents and the thousands of visitors who come to Bentonville each year.
